A youth from the state of Ohio in the United States falls in love with cooking after attending home economics class in school, and vows to start the top restaurant in America. After years of struggle and hard work, Curtis Duffy finally succeeds in realizing his dream and opens Grace, a three Michelin star restaurant in Chicago. The film is not just about a culinary legend, but also reveals a dark family secret involving Duffy's parents and his marriage troubles. The film goes behind Duffy's near perfect gastronomic creations to reveal the various people that shaped his life, such as the home economics teacher that inspired him, as well as his relationships with his two daughters and business partner.
